Eric Montague, a seasoned nerd, spent two decades as the founder and CEO of Executech before diving into his current adventure at Tech Legion. A champion of growth and mentorship, Eric lives by the mantra that an impactful life only comes from stretching oneself beyond one’s comfort zone. Eric is a historian with both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in the field, has written three books, thrives in the wild outdoors, is a falconer, and most importantly, treasures time as a devoted family man.
Sarah goes by the name “Tobey.” It’s unique, like the skillset she brings to the Tech Legion team. Tobey has a background in public relations with an emphasis in corporate communications. She has worked with leaders across the nation in government, education, healthcare, and business to develop and implement successful strategies to help organizations foster atmospheres of belonging and growth. Tobey is a passionate mental health advocate and relationship specialist. She holds a master’s degree in marriage and family counseling. Sunshine is her favorite walking buddy. On warm
days she loves to hike with her family.Â
Jaxon is a lifelong tech enthusiast with numerous technical certifications demonstrating his dedication to honing his skills as an employee at Tech Legion. He is a valued team member who is close to completing his bachelor’s degree in information systems. He brings a vibrant personality to the office. Driven by a passion for technology, problem-solving, and helping others, Jaxon exemplifies the Tech Legion Core Values of Excellence and Loyalty. When he’s not immersed in tech, Jaxon enjoys spending time with family and friends outdoors and playing sports and games.
Jeff is a dedicated cybersecurity professional with a lifelong passion for technology. With years of experience exploring and working with tech, he is committed to developing innovative solutions to protect digital systems. Outside of his work, Jeff enjoys spending time outdoors, creating lasting memories with his wife as they start their family, and playing games with friends and loved ones. His enthusiasm for learning and connecting with others drives both his personal and professional pursuits.
Marcus is a staff accountant focused on excellence in ordering and accounting tasks to keep Tech Legion running smoothly. He has a Bachelor’s in Accounting and brings a passion for efficiency and a strong knack for workflow automation to his role. He’s always looking for ways to stay organized and improve processes. Outside work, Marcus loves movies and makes it a point to see a new film every week—it’s his way of balancing productivity with a little bit of fun and inspiration.
Jordan keeps the office running at Tech Legion. Growing up in a small town, Jordan developed a strong work ethic and spent two years volunteering. In addition to his office duties, he assists the tech team as he plans to move up the ranks at Tech Legion. Outside of work, Jordan enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors, and spending time with his wife. As a current student, Jordan is focused on personal and professional growth.
Ethan began his career in 2019 as a support tech and, through dedication and skill, advanced to leadership at Tech Legion. Over the past six years, he has cultivated a deep passion for solving complex IT challenges and building strong client relationships. With multiple CompTIA certifications and a bachelor’s degree, he is driven by Tech Legion’s core values of excellence and loyalty. Outside work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and exploring new technologies.
Ryan began as an intern at Tech Legion and was quickly hired and promoted to the tech support team. Ryan enjoys his journey at Tech Legion, gaining skills and experience he’ll carry with him for the rest of his life. Ryan finds that helping people solve pesky computer problems can be very rewarding. Ryan has a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. Tyler Schlappi brings 14 years of experience in technology business development. He began his technology career at CentraCom, a leading ISP, and loves his career home at Tech Legion, where he is the Sales Director. Passionate about people, relationships, and coaching, Tyler balances his professional expertise with a love for basketball, the outdoors, and family. As a dedicated parent of 11, he thrives on fostering connections and inspiring others personally and professionally.
Scott is a tech enthusiast with a knack for problem-solving. He has been immersed in the world of computers since childhood. His mother did computer repair on the side, and he loved helping her. A talented musician, he finds joy in playing guitar and piano, and his creativity extends to hosting game servers, sci-fi literature, and Dungeons & Dragons. With a background in machine programming and business experience beyond his years, Scott is driven to lead with innovation, curiosity, and a passion for building meaningful connections.

After spending two years in the remote islands of Chuuk, Micronesia, he gained a deep appreciation for resilience and adaptability—skills that assist the team and clients of Tech Legion. Brandon is a hardworking and dedicated team member, advancing his expertise and pursuing a bachelor’s in Networking Security Management. Caleb Peterson, the numbers guru and spreadsheet wizard at Tech Legion, brings a sharp analytical mind and a passion for problem-solving to his role as CFO. With a talent for seeing the big picture, he believes success comes from balancing hard work with compassion and understanding. Outside work, Caleb enjoys weightlifting, tending to his indoor jungle, and spending time with his growing family. He is also fluent in Marshallese and translates professionally in his spare time.
Darren Bowden is the Director of Technical Alignment, focused on helping organizations build stable, secure, and scalable IT environments. He oversees the Onboarding, Centralized Services, and Technical Alignment teams, ensuring service delivery is consistent, proactive, and aligned with long-term business goals. Darren specializes in reducing risk, improving operational maturity, and creating clear standards that scale across client environments. Outside of work, he’s happiest spending time with his family while pursuing his love of board game, movies, and baseball.
Colby Thompson serves as Director of Operations at Tech Legion, overseeing Project Management, the Service Desk, and Internal Systems Administration. Drawing on leadership forged as a U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant and more than 15 years of experience helping MSPs across Utah scale responsibly, Colby is focused on operational excellence and people-first leadership. He holds an MBA and a BA in Computer Science with a networking specialization and is a former CCNA. Outside of work, Colby values family time and staying actively involved with his kids.
