Windows Server 2016 support ends January 12, 2027. Pick a path for each server.

After that date, Microsoft stops releasing security updates for Server 2016. You have three moves: upgrade in place, rebuild on new hardware, or move the workload to Azure. We help you choose server by server, then do the migration hours with you.

Server-by-server inventory

Every 2016 machine, what runs on it and what depends on it: file shares, business apps, SQL and domain controllers.

Upgrade, rebuild or Azure

We compare the options for each workload. We move on-premises servers, VMware and Hyper-V hosts, and SQL Server to Azure.

A rollback plan first

Each migration plan includes the steps to roll back, and you approve it before anything moves.

Questions before you ask

Will Server 2016 stop working on January 12?

No. It keeps running, but Microsoft stops releasing security fixes, so each new vulnerability stays open.

Should everything go to Azure?

Not always. File servers and domain controllers often fit Azure or Microsoft 365. Apps with heavy local traffic, like plant floor systems, may belong on new hardware on site.

Can you work with our in-house IT?

Yes. You keep the plan and the priorities. We add hands for the migration work.

Are we locked into a contract?

Ongoing service agreements begin after an initial period. We walk you through the terms before you sign anything.
