VOIP Terms of Service

Tech Legion Voice – VOIP Services – Terms of Service
Effective January 1, 2025

These Terms of Service for Tech Legion VOIP Services supplement the Master Services & Non-Solicitation Agreement (“MSA”) between Rock Mountain Technology Services, LLC DBA Tech Legion (“Company”) and the client (“Undersigned”). These Terms govern the provision of Tech Legion’s VOIP phone services (“VOIP Services”). Except as specifically modified herein, all terms and conditions of the MSA remain in full force and effect. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the MSA, the MSA shall control unless these Terms state otherwise.

  1. Service Description
We provide internet-based voice communication services, including call routing, voicemail, extensions, and related features. Service quality depends on your internet connection, power, and network configuration. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free Service.
  2. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to use the Service lawfully and not for fraudulent, harassing, or illegal purposes. You are responsible for securing your account credentials and all activity on your account. You must maintain accurate billing and contact information and ensure that your network and internet connection are reliable enough to support VOIP calls.
  3. Fees and Billing
Fees for VOIP Services are billed in accordance with the billing and payment provisions of the MSA. Regular monthly service fees include domestic U.S. calling within the continental United States. Calls to international numbers, Hawaii, and Alaska will incur additional fees that vary based on the destination and number being called. Taxes, surcharges, and usage-based fees may also apply. Late payments may result in suspension or termination of Service.
  4. Emergency Calling
VOIP services rely on your internet and power connection. If either fails, 911 or emergency calling may not be available or may transmit incorrect location data. You agree to maintain an alternate method for contacting emergency services.
  5. Term and Cancellation
The term, renewal, and termination of VOIP Services shall be governed exclusively by the Master Services & Non-Solicitation Agreement currently in force between the parties.
  6. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to send unsolicited messages, impersonate others, engage in spamming, or violate any law. You may not attempt to hack, modify, or disrupt the Service or its systems. High-volume usage exceeding standard business use may incur surcharges.
  7. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data, or for service interruptions caused by internet failure, power outage, or third-party network issues. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the previous 12 months. This limitation applies only to claims arising from VOIP Services; all other liabilities remain governed by the MSA.
  8. Privacy and Data
We may collect and use limited call and account data only to provide and maintain the Service. You retain ownership of your call records and voicemails. All data practices are subject to the confidentiality provisions of the MSA.
  9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and will become effective upon posting. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. By accepting a proposal or estimate for VOIP Service and by using our VOIP Service, these Terms are hereby incorporated into and made part of the Parties’ Master Services & Non-Solicitation Agreement.
  10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Disputes shall follow the dispute-resolution and governing-law provisions of the MSA.
